SEWARD, Neb. – A traffic stop Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 80 in Seward County, lead to the seizure of $560,000 worth of marijuana and THC products.
The stop occurred at approximately 12:00 p.m., when the Sergeant had conducted a traffic stop with a Penske moving truck. The K-9 Sergeant was able to smell an extremely strong marijuana odor coming off of the driver. The K-9 was deployed and led to a positive indication.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 48 vacuum sealed packages of hydro marijuana weighing 111.75 pounds, 995 vials of hashish oil and 4.82 pounds of hashish wax.
The driver Glenn Halliday, 54, of Clearlake, CA was arrested and is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of hashish wax, possession of hashish oil, possession of marijuana over one pound and no drug tax stamp.
The street value is approximated at $560,000.
