Police seized nearly 10,300 marijuana plants on Andros since Wednesday.
The seizures were made following the discovery of two large cannabis fields in the area of Owens Town, North Andros, police said.
According to reports, the first discovery took place around 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police said Drug Enforcement Unit officers along with U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency agents were on routine patrol when they discovered a marijuana field and uprooted an estimated 8,000 marijuana plants.
Police said they returned to the area the next day, shortly after noon, and discovered a second field, where they uprooted an estimated 2,300 marijuana plants.
Police said no arrests were made in the seizures and investigations continue.
