CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ark. – A large amount of marijuana has been seized at a home in the Pearson area of Cleburne County.
A news release issued Friday by the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office states that the discovery was made on Thursday as part of a joint investigation that included the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, the Heber Springs Police Department, and the 20th Judicial Drug Task Force.
During the execution of a search warrant, detectives confiscated about 22 pounds of “high-grade marijuana, which appeared to be packaged for resale,” the release said.
