SPRINGFIELD (WKZO AM/FM) — Charges could be brought today against a 31-year-old Springfield man who was arrested after Deputies were dispatched to a home on Lafayette to help a woman with a medical emergency on Sunday.
While in the home Deputies say they spotted several dozen marijuana plants, processed marijuana and five malnourished and unlicensed pit bulls and equipment associated with dog fighting.
Local ordinances only allow three licensed dogs, and State Law limits the number of marijuana plants you can have, even if you are a medical marijuana card holder.He could face multiple charges as a result of the investigation.
