MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) – A Moorhead man is in the Clay County jail following a drug bust at a Moorhead apartment on Friday.
Moorhead Police Lt. Tory Jacobson says 72-year-old Robert Smith was arrested following an investigation by Moorhead and Fargo police, the Minnesota State Patrol and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Investigators seized approximately one pound of methamphetamine, small amount of marijuana, marijuana eatables, variety of pills, vehicle, and $8,220 in U.S. currency.
Jacobson says he can’t provide specifics about the case, but he says Smith was “very active” in the distribution of drugs.
Jacobson says the case is still open and that more arrests are possible.
