Gwinnett police are asking for help identifying a man who was caught on video last month stealing a weed eater and other construction tools.

Around 2 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, the suspect, who is described as a white male wearing a black “Realtree” sweatshirt with a flag or antler pattern across the front was caught on surveillance video stealing the weed eater from the driveway of a home on Lansdowne Court in unincorporated Lawrenceville, according to Cpl. Michele Pihera, spokeswoman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.

After snatching the weed eater, the suspect then enters a nearby pick-up truck and steals an impact gun and other tools, Pihera said.

In addition to the sweatshirt, the suspect is wearing blue jeans and grey sneakers.
