FARMVILLE, Va. (WSET) — Four people have been arrested in a drug bust in Farmville.
The Piedmont Regional Drug and Gang Task Force said it executed a search warrant on Hill Street in Farmville where investigators seized marijuana.
Virginia Morgan, 22, of Richmond was arrested and charged with one felony count of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
She was released on bond.
Virginia State Police said further investigation led the task force to converge on a Longwood University residence hall where they took more marijuana and more than $8,000 in cash.
Micah Golemon-Mercer, 21, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with one felony count of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Police said the task force then executed another search warrant the next day at another home on Hill Street where they took marijuana, hallucinogenic narcotics, and five firearms.
Tristin Harding, 21, of Chesapeake, and Charles Keenan, 21, of Virginia Beach were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of Schedule I or II illegal narcotics, and possession of a firearm while in possession of Schedule I or II narcotics.
