Country music legend and marijuana activist Willie Nelson has been making headlines lately, announcing his plans to perform a free concert supporting Texas Democrat Beto O’Rourke, and standing up to backlash from some of his conservative fanbase for said concert.
Making an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” last week, Nelson told Colbert he’d get high with Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, and the Pope.
Colbert showed Nelson a series of celebrity photos, asking if he’d light up with each one. Nelson said yes to all of them. When asked about the Donald, Nelson said “Oh yeah. He needs one bad. That could be good for him.
