KELLOGG, ID – Troopers pulled over a Chevy Tahoe on Interstate 90 near Kellogg and the Idaho State Police seized cannabis valued at more than $1 million.
This happened slightly before 9:30 a.m. Friday. Troopers got a search warrant and they found 378 pounds of marijuana.
Since Washington legalized marijuana, Montana and Idaho authorities have been on the lookout for marijuana smugglers from the West Coast.
There is enough evidence to suggest that there huge amounts of cannabis which could be moving along the I-90 corridor in North Idaho.
Officers got an alert to the drugs through a K-9 signal during a traffic stop. According to the law enforcers, the drugs have a street value of over $1 million.
The authorities revealed that two suspects were arrested for pot trafficking and they were transported to the Shoshone County Jail.
