SANTA CRUZ (KRON) – Officers found methamphetamine, about 20 pounds of weed, other drug paraphernalia, and illegal weapons, all during a traffic stop in Santa Cruz, according to California Highway Patrol.
CHP says the officers were working the graveyard shift from Saturday night to Sunday morning when they pulled a car over for a “mechanical violation.”
Inside the car, CHP found drugs and illegal weapons.
The officers ended up seizing 320 ounces (20 pounds) of marijuana, 13 grams of meth, along with the weapons and other drug-related items.
