Clermont man arrested for marijuana, domestic assault

CLERMONT – A Clermont man has been arrested after a domestic violence call led to the discovery of marijuana plants growing at his Stone Street home on Christmas Eve day.

Fayette County sheriff’s deputies seized four pounds of marijuana and hemp plants from Thomas Robert Burrow’s home, and Burrow, 69, was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault causing injury, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the drug tax stamp act.

Burrow allegedly pushed a woman to the ground, and she broke her wrist in two places, according to court records.
