Columbus police say a man who was stopped for a traffic violation was found to have marijuana in his car.
According to a police report, 23-year-old Cedric Stewart has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The report says Stewart’s vehicle was stopped when the driver disregarded a stop sign.
Police say the officer detected marijuana in the car and a search found 30 grams valued at $300 in the center of the console.
The arrest was made on the intersection of Decatur Street and Fleming Avenue at 12:20 p.m. Sunday.
Stewart is scheduled to appear in Columbus Recorder’s Court Monday at 9 a.m.
