DEPUTIES HELP KEEP GARDEN WEED-FREE

According to a Flathead County Sheriff’s Office report, someone reportedly found multiple potted plants sitting on the side of Prairie View Road. Thinking they must have fallen out of the back of someone’s truck, the reporting party went to pick them up, planning to plant them in his garden, and found that all of them were marijuana plants. He turned them over to sheriff’s deputies.

Someone reportedly stole a handrail and a spiral steel staircase. The owner of the staircase reportedly followed the alleged thief, spotting the staircase sticking out of the back of a truck with an orange flag attached. The suspect vehicle was last seen on U.S. 2.

A large Anatolian shepherd was found on Cottage Lane and taken to the county animal shelter.

Someone allegedly stole money from a bank.

Two high school students reportedly broke into a house on Helena Flats Road, entering through an unlocked window, and stole three cases of soda from the garage.

A German shorthaired pointed was found near River Road and taken in for the night by a Good Samaritan before being transported to the county shelter.

Kalispell Police received a report of a woman allegedly using a laundry room at an apartment complex where she did not live and making threats to another tenant after she removed another tenant’s laundry and began doing her own. The witness allegedly informed the woman, “usually we don’t mess with other tenant’s laundry.” The alleged culprit then reportedly walked out of the facility after the woman, calling her explicit names and threatening to beat her up. An argument reportedly ensued before the alleged victim called police.

A man believed to be in his mid-20s was reportedly seen hopping fences and hiding in a woman’s yard.

An intoxicated woman reportedly kept going in and out of her apartment, half-dressed, to yell at construction workers and other tenants.

A woman reported finding a suspicious newspaper in her mailbox, bound with duct tape. The woman said it was suspicious because she did not subscribe to the paper.

A man was reportedly seen assailing a woman while walking across the street from an ice cream shop. The woman reportedly got into her vehicle and refused to let the man in when he tried. A witness believed the woman was hitting him back in order to fend him off.

A woman allegedly beat up two people, one of whom was her boyfriend, before allegedly slashing the tires on both of their vehicles and speeding away.
