Former Montreal Canadiens superstar Guy Lafleur is upset that a Vancouver businessman is using his name to promote a planned marijuana production facility in the Eastern Townships.
Promotional material from MYM Nutraceuticals touts subsidiary  CannaCanada president Yann Lafleur as  the “nephew” of Guy Lafleur.
Lafleur told the Journal de Montreal he doesn’t know Yann Lafleur and is upset that the Lafleur name is being used to promote marijuana use.
Guy Lafleur is a staunch opponent of the legalization of marijuana and claims his son Marc’s battle with hard drugs began with the use of marijuana.
