TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Officers seized 20 pounds of marijuana during a recent traffic stop in Tupelo.
On Friday, October 19 at approximately 11:55 p.m., Tupelo police conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck on Interstate 22 near the Natchez Trace Parkway for careless driving.
Police say they found a large amount of weed.
Narcotics agents arrested Paul Ricketts, 39, of Florida, and Andres Rene Campos-Marquetti, 31, of Colorado, for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Officers also seized THC wax. Police estimate the drug’s street value to be $75,000.
