OKALOOSA COUNTY. F; — A man was arrested after authorities discovered cannabis growing in a child’s bedroom.
Deputies were responding to a call which came from a home on the 6000 block of Tansey Lane. According to the authorities, a man was on the line saying “You want to pull a gun on me?” and then the caller hung up.
The 9-1-1 call was directed to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO).
The deputies found two men, a woman and a child inside the home. They conducted a security sweep and found cannabis plants inside the child’s closest. They also discovered additional plants inside an outdoor shed after they searched the rest of the house.
The woman revealed that she and Christopher Cline got into an argument about Cline smoking pot, this is according to reports.
The woman said she asked her brother to come pick her, Cline picked up a pistol when her brother showed up at the house.
“Cline picked up a pistol and put it in his pocket. Deputies say he displaced the gun during the argument,” said the OCSO.
However, the woman’s brother signed a drop charges form over the pistol issue.
Christopher Cline was charged with child neglect, possession of drug paraphernalia, smuggling contraband into a detention facility and production of marijuana.
