ROCK RAPIDS—The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department reported the arrest of Joshua Van Veldhuizen, 24, Steen, MN, about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, for first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana and drug paraphernalia, stemming from a traffic stop for a malfunctioning driver’s headlight at Garfield Street and Oak Street in Inwood.
