GRAND ISLAND, Neb. —Troopers in Nebraska were surprised to find around 120 pounds of marijuana on the interstate this week.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, troopers noticed the bags of pot falling onto the road. After issuing a traffic stop they were able to recover the multiple bags of marijuana.
“Today’s hint: if you are carrying over 120 pounds of marijuana, pack it so that it doesn’t fall out while driving down the interstate,” The Nebraska State Patrol Troop C tweeted. “Luckily someone called us so we could reunite them with their lost packages.”
The incident occurred near Odessa after several calls reported seeing something falling from the Dodge Ram that was eventually pulled over Friday.
The majority of the weed was discovered in a hidden compartment in the truck, said troopers. In total, troopers enough marijuana with an estimated street value is $366,000.
