CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A Carolina Beach man is behind bars after a joint investigation by Carolina Beach and Kure Beach police departments.
Justin Wayne Freeman, 36, was arrested at his apartment in Beach Harbour on Canal Drive in Carolina Beach and is charged with nearly a dozen drug charges.
Officers seized 122 dosage units of MDMA/Ecstasy, 35 Alprazolam tablets, Anabolic steroids, 235 grams of marijuana, digital scales and other paraphernalia used to prepare and manufacture the illicit controlled substances.
Freeman is in jail under $75,000.
The investigation is on-going.
Freeman was charged with the following criminal charges:

(1 Count) PWIMSD a Schedule 4 Controlled Substance
(1 Count) PWIMSD Marijuana

(1 Count) Maintain a Dwelling for the Use/Sale of a Controlled Substance
(2 Counts) Possession of a Schedule 3 Controlled Substance
(2 Counts) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
(1 Count) Contributing to a Delinquency of a Minor
