Public Hearing Notice City of Weed Planning Commission, Parcel Map, April 18, 2018

The Planning Commission of the City of Weed will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chambers at City Hall, 550 Main Street, Weed, CA 96094, to consider the following:

The Project is a Parcel Map, dividing 2 parcels described as 060-351-360 and 060-351-370 into 4 parcels. The Site is the former location of the Great Northern Services at 780 South Davis Ave Weed, California. The property is owned by Great Northern Services at 310 Boles Avenue, Weed, CA. The site was historically the location of Weed Elementary School and offices of Great Northern Services. The site and structures were destroyed in the 2014 Boles Fire. The property is designated Multi-family Residential in the Land Use Element of the City’s General Plan and is zoned R-4, Multi Family Residential in the City of Weed Zoning Ordinance. The proposed project is to divide the two existing combined properties totaling 1.46 Acres in to 4 parcels ranging from 13,300 square feet to 13,700 square feet. A 4.400 sq. ft. portion of the property fronting South Davis Avenue is offered for dedication to the City.

Initial environmental review of the above project finds the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15332 of the CEQA Guidelines. Class 32 exemptions are for In-fill Projects.
