Whose side are you on? Our sister station WOBM found the exact verbiage used in the new law, stating medical marijuana smokers may not
operate, navigate, or be in actual physical control of any vehicle, aircraft, railroad train, stationary heavy equipment or vessel while under the influence of marijuana;
or smoke marijuana in a school bus or other form of public transportation, in a private vehicle unless the vehicle is not in operation, on any school grounds, in any correctional facility, at any public park or beach, at any recreation center, or in any place where smoking is prohibited pursuant to N.J.S.2C:33-13.”
That seems like a pretty clear statement, and pretty much proof that the cops were correct in asking the smokers to leave. Free Beer & Hot Wings have highlighted plenty of videos of those people who try to bait cops with the whole “sovereign nation” crap, and I’m glad that the people who shot this video didn’t egg the cops on or try to be punks about it. The situation seemed calm on both sides, so I give the cops credit for not abusing power, and give the smokers credit for not causing a scene.
