ROCK RAPIDS—Jesse Ray Scheetz, 37, Sioux Falls, SD, was sentenced Thursday, Jan. 11, in Lyon County District Court in Rock Rapids for possession of controlled substance — a marijuana, a serious misdemeanor.
He was ordered to serve 180 days in jail with all but two days suspended and credit for time previously served.Scheetz also was ordered to obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow treatment/rehabilitation/monitoring program as recommended by said evaluation.
He also must pay $792.75 in court-related costs.
