HOUSTON (FOX 26) -Texans running back D’Onta Foreman was voluntarily tested for marijuana and the results are negative according to his Houston attorney Chip B. Lewis.
Foreman was arrested Sunday in Austin for possession of marijuana and an unlawful weapo.
Lewis said his client is innocent.
“The lab has returned D’Onta’s results,” Lewis said. “He is crystal clean, everything negative for any illicit drugs, marijuana, absolutely nothing.”
Lewis said the test was administered by Houston-based Champions Plaza Laboratories.
“It illustrates what D’Onta has said since his arrest, that he was not smoking marijuana. He did not possess marijuana,” Lewis said.
“It makes it clear that he was telling the truth. He was not using marijuana.”
The first court day set for the case is July 31.
