Two people are facing charges following a drug raid in Cass County Monday. The sheriff’s department tells us it searched a home in the 60,000 block of Conrad Road in Howard Township on suspicion marijuana was growing there.
Officers searched three buildings, and say they found marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia, and a marijuana grow operation. The sheriff’s department tells us it was not being conducted within the guidelines provided in the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act and was therefore illegal. A 62-year-old man and a 56-year-old man were both arrested, and now they’re facing drug charges. Their names have not been released.
