A “grass roots” campaign in California aims to help the homeless by distributing food, clothing and even pot.
It’s clled “Weed the Homeless” and it supports people living on the street of LA and San Diego. Organizers enlist the help of people in the cannabis industry to hand out the marijuana. They say pot helps treat medical conditions and that it is a better alternative to more dangerous drugs.
