We keep passing bond issues for schools that raise our property taxes, and it’s never enough.
What happened to all the marijuana tax money that is in the millions and was meant to help education? What happened to all the lottery money that was dedicated to education? Someone needs to investigate the accounting methods being used in Salem.
We are not only third-to-last in the nation in education, we now also have children who are physically out of control and causing teachers to leave the system. And we have parents who cannot teach or control their children, so they send them off to school for babysitting. Just keep filling those school seats, and the federal money kicks in.
When does someone actually fix these problems?
