Whoopi Goldberg, Bill Murray and Michael and Kevin Bacon hosted God’s Love We Deliver’s second annual Love Rocks NYC! benefit concert at the Beacon Theatre.
The “View” host and vocal marijuana advocate Goldberg even gave guests a few tips on how to budget in order to donate more to the cause. “Buy a joint instead of the bag. Make cocktails at home,” she quipped.
Murray described soul legend Mavis Staples as his “fiancée” before she took the stage and belted out “Respect Yourself.”
Meanwhile, Luann de Lesseps ducked out early with a young pal. The former countess — who recently completed a stint in rehab after being arrested for disorderly intoxication — appeared to have knocked back a few, but her rep insisted she’s not drinking.
“She was on medication for a bug she got in Colombia. It’s pretty strong medication. She was feeling nauseous. She’s really serious about sobriety and is completely focused on her wellness. She’s doing yoga every day,” he said.
She also recently went on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” and clutched a glass of white wine on the show.
But a rep said, “It all was for showbiz,” and she just held the glass and did not imbibe.
The sold-out gala included performances from Keith Richards, Andra Day, Gary Clark Jr., Ziggy Marley, Trombone Shorty, Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris and the Bacon brothers.
