TUCSON, Ariz. – Customs and Border Protection officers at the Raul Hector Castro Port of Entry in Douglas, Arizona, prevented a Mexican national from smuggling almost 200 pounds of marijuana into the United States on Friday afternoon.
After officers referred a 22-year-old Mexican man for a secondary inspection of his Nissan sedan, a CBP narcotics-detection canine alerted officers to locate approximately $99,000 worth of marijuana hidden throughout the vehicle.
