An Oklahoma City man was arrested Monday morning after he reportedly broke into an apartment and tried to convince the 17-year-old girl inside that the situation was “alright.”
The girl told police “several” men kicked down the door of her apartment about 6:45 a.m. in the 1300 block of N Meridian Ave.
Most of the men left when she shouted at them, but Dontavis Lamar McIntyre remained, according to a police report.
McIntyre, 27, walked past the girl and from room to room, picking up a jewelry box, according to the report.
The girl told police she grabbed her cellphone from her room and ran outside to call 911.
While the girl was waiting for police, McIntyre opened a window and told her to come back inside so they could “smoke some weed together,” according to the report.
He also tried to convince her the situation was “alright” because he knew her mother and her boyfriend, according to the report.
When police arrived McIntyre was sitting on a bench outside the apartment, according to the report.
