Man calls the cops to report ‘crazy thoughts’ after smoking weed

Elvert Barnes

There are a number of possible reactions to having gotten a little too high. Calling the cops for assistance usually isn’t on the shortlist. Matthew Hood of Jonesville, South Carolina, however, seems to have a different opinion.

Union County deputies said they charged Hood, 22, after he called them to report he’d gotten a tad too blazed. According to the deputies, they were called to an address on New Home Church in Jonesville on April 27.

When they arrived, they encountered a wild-eyed, very stoned Hood. The young man admitted he’d smoked some marijuana. He added that the weed was causing him to “have crazy thoughts.”

Hood was right. It is, indeed, an inarguably “crazy thought” to call the cops to your house because you’re too high. It’s even crazier to direct them to where the rest of your stash is located. You read that correctly. This dude led them to his weed stash in his “man cave.”

We’re left wondering exactly why this guy even wanted to smoke weed in the first place. Isn’t having “crazy thoughts” a part of getting high?

Maybe there should be a stoner book of etiquette. If there were such a book, it would surely advise that when the weed is really good, the person you actually need to call is your dealer or pot shop…to thank them.

Pro tip: the cops are best left entirely out of any situation involving being “too high.” Leave those hard working fellows alone to pursue actual crimes.

The deputies wrote young Hood a ticket for simple possession of marijuana. They also took him to the hospital, just to be on the safe side, reports FOX Carolina. Hood was fine, of course just high AF.
