(WEAR) — Police are investigating a collision on Monday in which texting may have been a factor.
It happened on Highway 90.
Police said Jacey Malone was slowing to turn into the median when a car driven by Danielle Brooks hit her from behind.
Malone was issued a ticket for careless driving and driving with a suspended license.
Brooks was ticketed for texting while driving and arrested for possession of marijuana.
